Female, born and raised in Germany, in the States since 1990.

Mother of two wonderful sons.  Married to Mark, my Best Friend, Lover, Companion.  Owner of a private piano studio where I enjoy helping my students figure out what works and what doesn’t when it comes to playing the piano.

I am passionate about learning and teaching, motivation, the brain, learning abilities and disabilities, parenting.  When I say “passionate” I actually mean “opinionated”.  I love to think.  I think a lot.  I am blessed with a lover who doesn’t mind listening to my sometimes endless rambling, often grousing, ADD-like jumping back and forth between unrelated ideas and concepts.

This is the place where I am putting on virtual paper my thoughts, “unfermented!” is what my mother exasperatedly used to call them, my ideas and questions.
